1 Corinthians 6:20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now, read 1 Cor 6 from the beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m learning that John 14:15 \u201cIf you love Me, you will keep My commandments.\u201d is NOT about conditional love, which is how I\u2019ve read it all my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don\u2019t have to prove my love for Jesus. He died for me, regardless of how I respond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Keeping His commandments is simply a RESULT of my love for Him. This is a game changer for my walk with Christ and my mission on this earth. I want more of Jesus in my life. It\u2019s just that simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This daily devotional is paying off far more than the few moments of slumber I miss. Being a better witness for Jesus\u2019 love is worth skipping that second bowl of raisin bran or the big blob of peanut butter with honey that I love to snack on. Y\u2019all seldom, if ever, see me eat but you will begin to see my body\u2019s response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is just like our walk with Christ: People seldom will see us in prayer or with our nose in The Word but they will see us exhibiting fruit of The Spirit and love for our neighbors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
